Product Description
The Carrier Remote Indoor Temperature Sensor with Override measures indoor air temperature from 32° F to 99° F at a location separate from the thermostat. Additionally, the remote sensor has an 'OVERRIDE' button which will place the thermostat into the override mode for up to four hours (see note below). The remote sensor will work with Venstar T1800, T1900, T2700, T2900, T2900SCH and T2300FS thermostat; each sold separately. It should be connected to the thermostat using solid conductor cat. 5 or cat. 6 type network communication cable, and can be used for applications where the sensor may be up to 250 feet away from the thermostat. This device will sense room temperature where it is installed, providing a temperature reading and show a blinking degree icon next to the temperature display on a compatible thermostat.Please Note: For information on override operation please consult the Owner's Manual of your thermostat.
